Both the manager and staff of the Advanced Care Unit are committed to providing excellent care for you. Our goal is for you to see Greene Memorial as "your community hospital".
The Advanced Care Unit (ACU) at GMH cares for patients with a variety of illnesses who may need continuous cardiac monitoring. The 16-bed unit also functions as a step-down unit for patients arriving from the GMH Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

When you become a patient of the Advanced Care Unit, you will provided with information on how to ask for help, what the daily routines of the unit are, what activity levels your physician ordered, and how to secure your belongings.
You will work closely with your primary nurse to meet health care needs that you identify.
